Minghao’s research focuses on multimodal learning analytics and adaptive learning. He is interested in exploring educational interfaces that can effectively adapt to the needs of different learners and understanding learner use of technologies in complex learning environments. His recent work looks at behavioral gaze patterns of different levels of learners and experts to capture their tacit knowledge and how these models may help support instructional tool development. Minghao is currently a PhD student in the EdTekLA research group, working with Dr. Carrie Demmans Epp.
