Estelle is a visiting PhD student at Dalhousie University, working on the project “Leaps and Bounds: From Reading Words to Understanding Texts”, under supervision of Hélène Deacon. On the one hand, she is interested in the use of prosody throughout children’s development, in relation to their reading skills. On the other hand, she focuses on the acquisition of word spelling, and more particularly on the role of morphological awareness in this learning.
