Kaitlyn is a NextGen scholar looking forward to networking and working with other scholars and partners of the SSHRC PG. Kaitlyn’s masters work focused on how young adults with varying levels of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder learn patterns and how this relates to broader language and social functioning. Recently, she has been looking at the shared and non-shared language difficulties in children with ADHD and developmental language disorder. She hopes her research will help individuals with varying levels of developmental disorders gain access to treatment for their difficulties.
