Daneesha is a psychology honours student at Dalhousie University who is currently completing her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Hélène Deacon in the Language and Literacy Lab. Her research aims to examine the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on both parents and children. She is particularly interested in assessing the various factors which might support or impede the psychological wellbeing of families engaged in mandated homeschooling due to the pandemic. It is her hope that this research will help inform supportive interventions for families both now and in the instance of future pandemics.
