West Vancouver Schools is a community of learners that includes the District of West Vancouver, Squamish Nation lands, the Village of Lions Bay and Bowen Island with an enrollment of over 7000 students and a graduation rate of approximately 98%. The research questions proposed by the grant team align with our stated values of Innovation and Excellence that support the West Vancouver Schools vision to provide the finest educational experience in the country. We look forward to collaborating with researchers on the grant to improve the literacy outcomes of students in our increasingly culturally diverse classrooms.
