Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (Access Alliance) provides services and addresses system inequities to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. We provide accessible, community-governed, inter-professional, primary health care services, including health promotion, illness prevention and treatment, chronic disease management, and individual and community capacity building. We are able to see the barriers that our clients face in system navigation, accessing employment, housing and healthcare due to language/literacy barriers and know that improving these skills will benefit the overall wellbeing of the people that we serve.
