Stef Hartlin

Stef Hartlin is the manager of Dr. Hélène Deacon’s Language and Literacy Lab in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Dalhousie University. She completed her BSc and MSc in Experimental Psychology at Dalhousie University and has worked extensively as a research manager in the fields of developmental and educational research on local, provincial, and national level research projects. Stef specializes in team building, recruitment, community outreach, knowledge mobilization, and experimental design. Outside of work she can be found in the cabin she shares with her husband, three dogs, and their gang of chickens in the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley. Stef is looking forward to working with the exceptional PG SSHRC team and supporting Dr. Deacon’s role as co-director and co-lead for literacy.
