McGill University

Carlos’ research interests include the development and acquisition of written language in diverse pediatric populations and the use of diverse children’s literature in clinical interventions. His current research project is assessing the use of diverse children’s literature in speech-language pathology (SLP) practices across Canada. He hopes to continue exploring the intersection of culture and SLP services with the hopes of drafting or improving current policies that impact service delivery. Carlos is currently a Ph.D. student at McGill University working with Dr. Susan Rvachew.
