The Delmore ‘Buddy’ Daye Learning Institute is a non-profit organization with a mandate to help reduce the racial literacy gap through research, development of resources, and community engagement that inspires vulnerable racial minority groups to increase their literacy skills. Using Africentric perspectives, we connect and mobilize government, communities and individuals to support lifelong learning and achieve our goals through leadership in programs, communications and partnerships. DBDLI envisions a Canada where everyone has the skills they need to live a fully engaged life.  We bring our own expertise to this partnership that we hope will lead to new knowledge and understanding of research on minority communities.
