Magdalena Ivok holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Glasgow, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Linguistics at Simon Fraser University. Magdalena is interested in perception and production of second language rhythm, and is writing her MA thesis on production of English stress levels by English learners. Her undergraduate honours thesis on rhythm perception and production in people who stutter received the best honours thesis award from the University of Glasgow’s Linguistics Department.  


She works as a Teaching Assistant at the Linguistics Department and as a Research Assistant at the Language Learning and Development Lab under the supervision of Dr. Henny Yeung.
