Tamara Sorenson Duncan is interested in language and literacy development in diverse populations. To date, her research has focused on oral language development in children from immigrant and refugee backgrounds, including children with developmental language disorder and children with autism spectrum disorder. Building on research into oral language development, she also investigates the relations between oral language and literacy development.
